Last week, a report surfaced that former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne wants to play one more year before hanging up his cleats for good. While Mike Wells of ESPN stated that Wayne had been on the phone with several teams, he did not indicate which teams.

We then speculated on five teams that might make good fits, singling out the Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs , Carolina Panthers , Ravens and Seattle Seahawks as potential landing spots.

Well, now we have a report courtesy of Dave Furst from WRTV-6 in Indianapolis of exactly who is showing interest thus far:

Looks like we were right on with the Patriots and Ravens, at least. Here's what we wrote about those potential fits last week:

New England Patriots : Any time there's a talented receiver on the open market, the Patriots make a good deal of sense. Tom Brady can get the best out of all kinds of wideouts, especially possession receiver types like Wayne. Beyond Julian Edelman , New England's depth chart at wide receiver is a bit unsettled: Brandon LaFell and Danny Amendola are probably the next best options, but LaFell isn't exactly the most consistent player and Amendola can't necessarily be counted on to stay healthy. If Wayne wants to play for a sure fire contender, it's hard to pick a better option than the Pats.
Baltimore Ravens : This is a similar situation to the Panthers. Joe Flacco has Steve Smith and Breshad Perriman to throw to, but the passing-game options beyond that aren't exactly inspiring. Wayne and Smith would give Baltimore one of the older receiving duos in the league, but they're different enough players that it could work pretty well. Both Smith and Perriman have electric speed, and Wayne could provide a bit of a different look either from the outside or the slot. Baltimore is also annually a playoff contender, which should appeal to Wayne at this stage of his career.

The Texans lost Andre Johnson to Wayne's former team earlier this offseason and are now down to DeAndre Hopkins , Cecil Shorts and rookie Jaelen Strong as their top receiving options for either Ryan Mallett or Brian Hoyer . Wayne could provide a veteran presence to help mentor Strong while also being a reliable possession option for whichever quarterback wins the job in training camp.

The Packers don't seem to make much sense for Wayne. They've got arguably the best wide receiver duo in the league in Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb , plus a strong third receiver in Davante Adams and a rookie they have high hopes for in Ty Montgomery . While Wayne could certainly add depth, there doesn't appear to be much of a role for him there. However, Green Bay would definitely fulfill Wayne's wish of playing for a contender.
