Report: Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome leaves Soldier Field in ambulance

Shortly after the Ravens' overtime loss to the Bears in Chicago's Soldier Field, Baltimore general manager Ozzie Newsome left the stadium in an ambulance, according to WNST's Nestor Aparicio.

A Bears source confirmed the report to the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs.

Aparicio tweeted that he was in a stadium elevator with Newsome after the game and that the GM was "sweating profusely."

The Ravens released this statement: "Ozzie Newsome did not feel well after today's game and a team doctor recommended that Ozzie not fly tonight.”

Newsome, 57, has been the Ravens' general manager since 2002.
