Report: Ted Wells wants answers from Pouncey, Dolphins' O-line coach
NFL-appointed investigator Tedd Wells will have particular interest in Dolphins offensive line coach Jim Turner and center Mike Pouncey, according to a report.
Ted Wells, the attorney appointed by the NFL to investigate the Miami Dolphins' locker room culture in the wake of Richie Incognito's indefinite suspension for his role in allegedly hazing teammate Jonathan Martin, said Monday that he's looking "forward to meeting with Dolphins players, coaches and staff in order to get the facts and prepare a thorough and fair report."
"Turner is a person of particular interest because he was the direct supervisor over Martin, Richie Incognito and other players who allegedly engaged in the mistreatment alleged by Martin," Salguero wrote Monday.
"And Pouncey is under the microscope because, a source says, he was at the very least a witness to the mistreatment Martin and his legal team are alleging. It is unclear if Pouncey actually took part in the alleged mistreatment as well."
Dolphins players are aware Wells is coming.
“I think everybody is going to be interviewed," quarterback Ryan Tannehill said.
There is no timetable on when Wells' investigation will conclude.
