Report: Titans LB McCarthy faces season-ending shoulder surgery
Once again, Titans linebacker Colin McCarthy has had a tough time staying healthy.
Unfortunately for Tennessee, it sounds like we won't see the team's former defensive captain until 2015. That's because McCarthy, injured in Saturday's preseason game vs. the Packers, appears headed for season-ending shoulder surgery, according to the Tennessean.
The paper, though, also writes McCarthy will get a second opinion sometime next week.
McCarthy, once thought to be one of the future pillars of the Tennessee defense, had lost his starting job to Moise Fokou last season during training camp, and the paper writes that he mostly had been working with the backup defense in 2014.
