Report: Vikings WR Jerome Simpson facing 3-game suspension
Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson is facing a three-game suspension stemming from his drunken-driving arrest last season, reports the StarTribune.com.
If this sounds familiar it should; Simpson missed the first three games of the 2012 season for violating the league's substance-abuse policy.
Simpson, who was in New York on Monday to appeal his suspension at league headquarters, signed a one-year contract with the Vikings in the offseason. He had a career-high 726 receiving yards in 2013 but remains behind Greg Jennings and Cordarrelle Patterson on the Vikings' depth chart.
