Ndamukong Suh might have found a place where his twisting kick will do less damage -- a swimming pool.
Reports say the 6-foot-4, 307-pound Lions defensive tackle will appear on a new ABC reality show called "Celebrity Diving."
The show, scheduled to premiere March 19, also is said to include Miss Alabama, Katherine Webb (the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron), NBA Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and actresses Keshia Knight Pulliam ("Cosby Show") and Nicole Eggert ("Baywatch").
Four-time Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis will be one of the judges.
Suh was fined $30,000 for his Thanksgiving Day kick to the groin of Matt Schaub. The Texans quarterback responded by saying he wouldn’t want Suh as a teammate and by calling him “not Houston Texan worthy.”
Suh called the kick accidental and did not apologize.
In a 2011 Thanksgiving game, Suh stomped on Packers guard Evan Dietrich-Smith and received a two-game suspension.
Earlier this month, Suh reportedly paid $130,000 to settle a lawsuit stemming from a December 2011 car accident in Portland, Ore., that injured a passenger.
