Richie Incognito returns to Twitter, apologizes to Jonathan Martin
Richie Incognito returned to Twitter on Monday and apologized to everyone while also firing and unfiring his agent. It was quite the scene, man.
Much of the Ted Wells report focused on exchanges between Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito. The two had a "bi-polar" relationship according to Martin, and Incognito often came off as an emotional rollercoaster. The proof, once again, is in the pudding. And the pudding, in this case, is Twitter.
Specifically Incognito's Twitter account, which he fired up on Monday night after (temporarily) quitting the social media platform Friday night. Incognito also apologized for "acting like a big baby the last few days."

I apologize for acting like a big baby the last few days. This has all been so much on me and my family. I just want to play football— Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 17, 2014
I want everyone to know I'm in good spirits and looking forward to playing again one day— Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 17, 2014
Incognito's first tweet was actually to tell the world he was firing his agents at Athletes First, tweeting "at" them that "YOU ARE FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" before telling them to "Have a wonderful and blessed day" and a "HAPPY SUNDAY." Incognito also asked "How da f--- does joe still have a job?"
But he didn't mean it, you guys. The lineman told the world at 2:35 a.m. ET (from California though) that he was not firing his agents. They are, after all "familia."
Shout out @AthletesFirst I love you I will never ever FIRE you Tu es mi familia— Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 18, 2014
And speaking of family, Incognito apologized to Martin as well.
I would like to send Jonathan my apologies as well. Until someone tells me different you are still my brother. No hard feelings :)— Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 18, 2014
But why stop there? How about Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, Wells the investigator, the NFL, the NFLPA and maybe America? After all, it did get "cray cray."
I would like to also apologize to Mr. Ross and Mr. Wells. Shit got cray cray #MYBAD— Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 18, 2014
Shout out @NFLPA— Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 18, 2014
It was basically like an Oscars speech only no one was there to yank Incognito off the stage.
