RGIII Beatbox Remix from Gatorade Productions on Vimeo.

Few folks have faced the scrutiny that Robert Griffin III has this offseason -- the Redskins-centric world literally sits around and watches his knee -- and thanks to the fine folks at Gatorade, NFL Films and ESPN, we'll get some pretty good looks at what his personal lifes' been like the past few months.

The two parties have produced a six-act, hour-long documentary -- a sneak, beatbox-filled peak which you can see above -- that will kick off on Tuesday, August 27 on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET.

Steve Trout and Jay Jackson of NFL Films are co-directors of the film, which will chronicle Griffin's first year in the NFL, beginning with his rookie season, his knee injury against the Seahawks in the playoffs, his rehab and "more personal off-the-field moments."

You can see the opening scene above is Griffin in front of his much-scrutinized wedding presents and partial scenes are him beat-boxing at what appears to be his kitchen table with Mrs. RG3.

Griffin himself is actually an executive producer of the film and shot some of the scenes used selfie-style. It's his beat-boxing, of course, that's overlaid on the video above.

Gatorade.com will also have additional extras and ESPN/ESPN2 should show multiple encore episodes, but go ahead and set your DVR now.
