Russell Wilson on eyebrow bet: More of a 'joking around type deal'
Despite making the bet with Colin Kaepernick in an ad, it sounds like Russell Wilson doesn't expect Sunday's loser to shave an eyebrow.
If you were hoping to see either Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson or 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick lose an eyebrow this week becuase of a commercialized bet, you might end up sorely disappointed.
Wilson was asked Tuesday about the bet on 950 KJR-AM on Tuesday, and it sounded like he wasn’t taking the gamble too seriously.
“It was more of just a friendly, joking around type deal,” Wilson said, via PFT. “It’s not real serious. We’ll probably do something digitally. Something like that.”
Well, that’s not what was said in the video and transcript below in an ad for Madden 25.
Kap: "Big game on Sunday."
Wilson: "Yup. You know what we should do? Whoever loses has to shave an eyebrow."
Kap: "Aight. Hope you don't like your eyebrow."
No matter who likes whose eyebrows, it doesn’t appear that anybody will lose one of their own. I don’t know, the fact this storyline has been plucked away makes me want to tweeze away the pain.
In other news, Whoopi Goldberg couldn’t have made this bet either way.
