For the second time in four days, Ryan Leaf has been arrested in Montana. (US Presswire)
Ryan Leaf, once again, has been arrested on burglary and drug charges. No, this isn’t the news from late last week when he was arrested on burglary, drug and theft charges.

No, this is a new arrest with even more charges.

As the AP reports, Leaf was arrested in Montana early Monday morning, two days after posting bond on his first arrest. According to Central Montana Drug Force Commander Chris Hickman, Leaf will face charges on burglary, theft and two counts of criminal possession of drug charges, as well as a probation violation.

Leaf apparently broke into an acquaintance’s home for prescription painkillers Saturday, the day after he was arrested the first time. Hickman said the probation violation will ensure Leaf remains in jail, because it does not carry a bond. After his first arrest, Leaf posted a $76,000 bond. He is scheduled to be in court Monday afternoon.

He also made this statement Friday.

"I've made some mistakes, and have no excuses. I am using the tools I've learned to move forward rather than backwards, and will be open to talking about the details in the days to come. I am confident that there will be further understanding when the facts are revealed, and feel very blessed for all of the support, especially from my friends and family."
