Bills rookie wideout Sammy Watkins suffered a rib injury on Saturday night that resulted him in leaving Buffalo's preseason game against the Steelers.

Coming off a slant on third and short in the first quarter, Watkins attempted to make a catch and was hit hard in the side by Cortez Allen and Ryan Shazier (he might've suffered the injury when Shazier hit him after Allen tackled him, as our Dave Richard, currently at the game, points out).

He stood up and started to walk to the sideline holding his side:

Watkins also went to the sideline and was seen grimacing in pretty serious pain.

The Bills announced later in the game Watkins wouldn't return.
