Seahawks activate Percy Harvin from PUP list
The Seahawks activated Percy Harvin from the PUP list on Monday. He's tracking well to play in Week 11 against the Vikings.
The Seahawks finally get to play with their new toy. Seattle activated wide receiver Percy Harvin from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list on Monday evening.
We've been hearing rumors about Harvin possibly playing for the past few weeks but Week 11 -- against Harvin's old team, the Vikings -- looks like a safe bet to actually happen.
Harvin underwent surgery on his hip back on August 1 and was later placed on the PUP that month. Seattle's managed just fine without him this season, going 9-1 through the first 10 weeks of the season.
Russell Wilson's been under pressure quite often, though, but that might have more to do with the lack of an offensive line.
Good news for Seattle on that front too, as Russell Okung, Max Unger and Breno Giacomini could return this week as well. If that happens, the Seahawks will be pretty close to full strength on offense.
That's particularly interesting since they'll be playing the Vikings this week. The Vikings, as you might recall, traded Harvin to Seattle this offseason in exchange for a first-round pick.
Though Harvin will be described as "limited" in terms of how much playing time he'll get, you can bet the wide receiver will be motivated to show Minnesota that they made a mistake.
