The Seahawks are peaking because their offense is rolling. Russell Wilson finally appears to be fully healthy. Jimmy Graham looks like the tight end the Seahawks thought they traded for. Thomas Rawls is back on the field. And Doug Baldwin might just be the most underrated receiver in the NFL.

Unfortunately, the Seahawks lost a key contributor during their win over the Eagles on Sunday. Rookie running back C.J. Prosise, who supplanted the recently released Christine Michael as the Seahawks' top running back, exited the game with a shoulder injury and didn't return.

After the game, Pete Carroll revealed that Prosise will be out for some time.

According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, it's looking like a eight-week injury -- approximately.

The Seahawks do, at least, have Rawls back, but Prosise served as a capable and versatile back when he was given chances to contribute. Against the Patriots a week ago, Prosise racked up 153 yards from scrimmage. Before he left Sunday's game, he scored on a 72-yard run (which you can see at the top of this post).

He'll be missed.

Without Prosise, Rawls' workload will likely increase. That's not necessarily a bad thing considering how electric Rawls was in his rookie year, when he averaged 5.6 yards per carry.

At 7-2-1, the Seahawks are a lock to qualify for the postseason barring a complete collapse. If they're able to re-install Prosise into the offense for their playoff run, the injury might not end up mattering much.
