Top NFL Week 6 Picks: Patriots, Cardinals, Seahawks
The past two weeks have pushed my record over .500, so let's keep the hot streak going on my best bets.
After going 2-1 last week in my best bets -- oops, on the Eagles-Giants game -- I am now over .500 on my best bets for the first time this season.
Let's keep it rolling with three more good ones this week. Do I smell 3-0?
Patriots (-2½) vs. Saints: I just can't see Tom Brady being held down in two consecutive games. And the Saints are playing their second consecutive road game outside the division. That's tough to do. Brady gets it cranked up here in what should be a fun game. Even without Rob Gronkowski, I like Brady to get some chances down the field against that aggressive New Orleans defense.
Cardinals (+11) at 49ers: Jim Harbaugh has not lost a division game at home, and I am not saying he will lose here either. I just think the 11 points is too much against a good Arizona defense that will get after Colin Kaepernick. The 49ers aren't exactly lighting things up on offense and they are banged up some on defense.
Seahawks (-13½) vs. Titans: The Seahawks will beat up Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Titans. Seattle is home after two weeks on the road, and they play differently here. They will get after Fitzpatrick. The Titans line had trouble with Dontari Poe last week. Watch what Brandon Mebane and Red Bryant do this week. This one will get ugly.
