Tracy Morgan surprises Ravens with practice-day appearance
The Ravens surprised their players with an appearance from comedian Tracy Morgan on Saturday.
Sometimes NFL teams like to break up the monotony of training camp and reward their players. The Ravens did so on Saturday in pretty impressive fashion, bringing in comedian (and EOF video buddy) Tracy Morgan to crack up the locker room on Saturday.
Added bonus: after 20 minutes of Mogan reportedly roasting the Ravens roster, Harbaugh decided to cancel the remainder of practice.
“We usually try to have something interesting and entertaining at the end of training camp, and we had Tracy here today,” Harbaugh said. “He entertained the room and had a good message for the players after his performance.”
The Ravens players, predictably, enjoyed the performance from Morgan, as was noted by Vonta Leach and Torrey Smith on Twitter:

Harbaugh pulled off the appearance former "30 Rock" and "SNL" in pretty impressive and surprising fashion: per Matt Vensel of the Baltimore Sun, halfway through a scheduled team meeting (which was taking place right before practice) Harbaugh showed the team clips of Morgan to lighten the mood, when Morgan and his crew came rolling in and lit up the roster.
Apparently "no players were off limits," including notoriously boring (and now extremely rich) quarterback Joe Flacco.
Morgan's peforming a local comedy club this weekend so the appearance actually makes a lot of sense. But it would be hard to blame Harbaugh for being a little superstitous -- the last time Morgan was in close proximity to the Ravens was Super Bowl week. That panned out pretty well for his squad.
