Tyler Wilson likely to land back with Oakland Raiders
A day after he was cut, rookie Raiders quarterback Tyler Wilson might be returning to Oakland.
Looks like Tyler Wilson, the Raiders' fourth-round draft pick, will return to Oakland a day after he was released by the squad.
As CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reports, Wilson, who was cut Sunday, has passed through waivers and likely will be signed to the Raiders' practice squad.
While there was optimism after Oakland drafted Wilson in April, he had a rough preseason and had trouble adjusting to the pro game and all of his new quarterbacking responsibilities. The fact the team kept McGloin instead of Wilson was proof of that.
