The last time we wrote about any on-field action for Brian Banks, he was trying out -- and ultimately getting released by -- the Falcons at training camp last season.

Even still, his story was inspirational, as he spent five years in prison and five years on probation after he was falsely accused and convicted of rape before his ultimate exoneration. Though he missed out on his football scholarship to USC and the prime of his athletic life, he contributed to the Falcons in their preseason.

Now, his story continues forward, because Banks announced Friday that he's got a new job.

According to NFL.com, Banks' new job is as a manager in the football operations department. The league said Banks will help in the officiating department on game days.
