The Carson Wentz Era in Philadelphia is off to one heck of a start. The Eagles shot out of the gates this season at 2-0 by beating the Browns and Bears, and the expectation was they'd get their comeuppance Sunday afternoon against the Super Bowl-contending Pittsburgh Steelers.

That has not happened.

The Eagles broke the game open in the second half, thanks in large part to a sparkling performance from Carson Wentz. The rookie completed 20 of his first 27 for 263 yards and two touchdowns, the second of which saw Wentz escape from pressure, leave the pocket, keep his eyes down the field, and find Darren Sproles for a 73-yard catch-and-run that ended in the end zone.

Sproles obviously made a lot of that happen with his work after the catch (and before it, running the scramble drill to perfection), but none of that happens without Wentz putting himself in position to make the throw in the first place. That's the kind of play that keeps you in this league for a long time.
