WATCH: Former Clemson QB Tajh Boyd works on his fundamentals
In preparation for the scouting combine and his pro day, former Clemson QB Tajh Boyd hits the field, and the white board, to hone his craft.
For a quarterback, preparation for a chance at the NFL looks a little bit different than for a star prospect at another position.
There's a little more whiteboard work. There's a little more focus on the mental aspect, with fast decision making and the ability to read a defense arguably more important than having a slightly faster 40 time or an inch or two in height to your advantage.
In the above video, we get to see a snapshot of former Clemson QB Tajh Boyd's prep work for the NFL scouting combine and for his pro day, working with a team of trainers and strategists that includes Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Cris Carter.
