Great news for Bills legend Jim Kelly, who has been battling the recurrence of sinus cancer, which was originally diagnosed in June 2013: A week after finishing chemotherapy, the Hall of Fame quarterback has now completed radiation.

It gets better: As Kelly walked out of the hospital Wednesday, he was greeted by cheering friends and family. Afterwards, he was understandly emotional.

“Thank you guys," he said, according to Bills.com. "I know I could not have done this without family and friends and you guys have been here since day one,” said Kelly. “I have a long way to go but I know with you people on my team I’ll be here for many many more years and many more parties and gatherings, so thank you.”
