It's good to have a fallback plan. And for Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman, that means t-shirt model and Internet talk show host. With the regular season more than three months off, Edelman is splitting his time between OTAs in Foxborough, and hosting ... "Burgertyme with Julian Edelman."
As the title suggests, hamburgers are involved, but Edelman also interviews guests in the most general sense of the word.
In this episode, which, as CBSSports.com editor Denny Burkholder points out, appears to draw inspiration from "Space Ghost Coast to Coast" -- and take place on the "Between Two Ferns" set -- teammate Chandler Jones stops by only to have Edelman "confuse" him with UFC champion Jon "Bones" Jones (Chandler's brother).
Hilarity ensues.
Added bonus: Punter Ryan Allen apparently works on the "Burgertyme" set and makes a cameo near the end of the video.
