WATCH: Richard Sherman, Seattle receiver Phil Bates have a fight
Fights happen all the time at football practice. But they don't usually involve one of the league's best defenders.
Fights in football practices are about as common as coaches dropping F-bombs or reporters diligently trying to keep themselves awake while watching drills. But minicamp tussles don't often involve one of the best defensive players in the league.
Apparently, the tempers began to rise when receiver Bryan Walters apparently hurt his shoulder after Earl Thomas landed on him while Walters dove to make a catch. The next play is when Sherman and Bates went at it.
A GIF (with punches thrown!) for your viewing pleasure.
Luckily for all involved, it ended in peace.
Sherman and Bates were seen laughing about it later, and Sherman and Harvn did a playful recreation on sideline.— Bob Condotta (@bcondotta) June 18, 2014
