WR Percy Harvin out for Vikings on Sunday with ankle injury
According to a report, wide receiver Percy Harvin won't play against the Lions on Sunday as he's still 'limping badly' and unable to go for the Vikings.
CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reports that Harvin will be inactive Sunday as a result of the ankle injury that he suffered against the Seahawks in Week 9.
Harvin returned to the game against Seattle and finished with two catches for 10 yards and four rushes for 24 yards.
Christian Ponder has thrown for less than 75 yards twice in the last three weeks. Even against a bad Lions secondary, he might be a good bet to stay low without Harvin in the game.
Minnesota will need to feed Adrian Peterson early and often in order to get rolling. Harvin was 10th in the league in receiving yards (677) and first in receptions (62, Reggie Wayne passed him on Thursday) heading into Week 10.
