Zimmer slams Faciane following arrest
If Minnesota Vikings offensive lineman Isame Faciane wasn't worried about his future with the organization before, he will be now after hearing some of the comments
Speaking after practice on Monday, Zimmer didn't hold back in his criticisms of the practice squad player, lamenting Faciane's poor decision making.
“My thoughts are that it’s disappointing and that’s one of the things I’m trying to get rid of around here, making sure that our fans are being represented in the right way,” Zimmer said. “It was stupid, and we’ll see.’’
Zimmer later said they would gather all of the available information before making any decisions on the lineman's status with the team.
The third year player was arrested early Wednesday morning after making an illegal u-turn and driving the wrong direction in a construction zone. He was pulled over and arrested under suspicion of DWI and driving without a Minnesota license.
He was absent from practice on Monday.
