Cowboys' Viliami Fehoko: Returns to active roster
Fehoko (knee) was activated from injured reserve Wednesday.
Fehoko has yet to suit up with the Cowboys this season despite not landing on IR until Nov. 18. The rookie was on the last day of his 21-day practice window, so if Dallas did not activate him, he would have been forced to miss the remainder of the season.

Cowboys' Viliami Fehoko: Designated to return from IR
The Cowboys designated Fehoko (knee) to return from injured reserve Wednesday.
Fehoko went on IR on Nov. 18 due to a knee injury, and he's since sat out the required number of games to be eligible to return. The rookie defensive end had yet to play in a regular-season game prior to landing on injured reserve, and it's uncertain if he'll get the opportunity to do so if he is activated prior to the close of his 21-day practice window. Fehoko was listed as a full participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, so he appears to be back to full health.

Cowboys' Viliami Fehoko: Placed on IR
The Cowboys placed Fehoko (knee) on injured reserve Saturday.
Fehoko appeared on the injury report this week due to a knee issue, but he was able to log a trio of full practice sessions during Week 11 prep. Nevertheless, the rookie has now landed on IR and will need to miss at least four games. The move created space on the active roster for Dallas to sign linebacker Rashaan Evans off its practice squad.

Cowboys' Viliami Fehoko: Healthy ahead of 2023 campaign
Fehoko (shoulder) did not appear on the Cowboys' injury report Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Fehoko appears to be ready to go for Week 1 after dealing with a shoulder strain during the preseason. The 23-year-old was selected in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and he's expected to operate as a depth option behind the likes of DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons in his rookie campaign.

Fehoko didn't practice this week due to a shoulder strain, so it's not surprising to see him ruled out for the team's first exhibition. The rookie's next chance to see game action will arrive next Saturday in Seattle.
