Kenny Britt caught three passes for 81 yards in a 19-16 overtime loss to San Francisco on Sunday.
Britt seemed to find some chemistry with Case Keenum near the end of the year, averaging more than 20 yards a catch over his last five games with a pair of touchdowns. It's doubtful Keenum will be the quarterback to begin 2016, so some of Britt's value will hinge on that decision in St. Louis, although he did a decent job with what he had this season.
Kenny Britt caught three of four targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-17 upset win against the Seahawks.
Britt made the most of his limited opportunities, surprisingly smoking CB Richard Sherman on a 28-yard touchdown in the second quarter. He easily led the St. Louis Rams in receiving Sunday, helping them win at Seattle for the first time in 10 years. He'll try to score in a third straight game next week at San Francisco.
Kenny Britt (shoulder) caught both of his targets for 71 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 31-23 win over the Buccaneers.
Britt burnt undrafted rookie Jude Adjei-Barimah on a double move in the first quarter, breaking free for a fairly easy 60-yard touchdown. Despite his excellent start, Britt only received one more target the rest of the night, as Case Keenum attempted just 17 passes. Britt thus fell shy of 100 yards for a 13th time in 14 games this season, and the touchdown was just his second of the year. With a Week 16 road matchup against the Seahawks coming up next, Britt will likely fall back to his usual level of production.
Kenny Britt (shoulder) is active for Thursday's game against the Buccaneers, Myles Simmons of the St. Louis Rams ' official website reports.
Britt was limited at practice during the short week, but there was never any real concern regarding his Thursday availability. Even in a favorable matchup, Britt will likely need a long gain and/or a touchdown in order to have a decent night, as he's averaging just 4.7 targets per contest this season. Case Keenum threw for 136 and 124 yards in his first two starts of the year.
Kenny Britt (shoulder) is listed as probable for Thursday's game versus the Buccaneers, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Kicking off the week with a cap in practice reps, Britt allayed any fears that he wouldn't suit up Thursday with a full session Wednesday. With his Week 15 availability all but confirmed, he'll look to exploit a Tampa Bay defense that has given up 12.4 YPC and six touchdowns to wide receivers over the last four contests.
