Jets TE Jeff Cumberland finds the end zone vs. Patriots

Jets tight end Jeff Cumberland found the end zone for the second time this season in his team's loss to the Patriots in Week 16.

Cumberland came down with a 20-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. He caught three of five passes thrown his way for 43 yards and a score in a 17-16 defeat. He has 224 receiving yards this season.

New York will face Miami in Week 17.

Jets rule out Muhammad Wilkerson, Jace Amaro for Week 14

Jets defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson (toe) and tight end Jace Amaro (concussion) were the only players ruled out for Sunday's game against Minnesota, per New York's final injury report released on Friday. Both were unable to practice all week because of their respective injuries.

Meanwhile, guard Willie Colon (knee, shoulder), tight end Jeff Cumberland (illness), kicker Nick Folk (right hip), running back Chris Johnson (knee), wide receiver Jeremy Kerley (illness) and cornerback Josh Thomas (illness) were all deemed probable.

13 of 15 Jets players on injury report ruled probable for Week 9

The Jets enter Week 9 against the Chiefs relatively healthy. Out of 15 players listed on the injury report, Darrin Walls (calf, knee) was ruled doubtful for Sunday.Geno Smith (shoulder) was labeled questionable.

The other 13 players were deemed probable: Oday Aboushi (shoulder), Phillip Adams (groin), Antwan Barnes (knee), Willie Colon (knee), Jeff Cumberland (shoulder, finger), Demario Davis (finger), Eric Decker (hamstring), David Harris (shoulder), Chris Johnson (ankle), Jeremy Kerley (illness), Nick Mangold (shoulder), Trevor Reilly (knee) and Greg Salas (wrist, ankle).

Jets TE Jeff Cumberland scores first TD of season

Jets tight end Jeff Cumberland found the end zone for the first time this season in Thursday's defeat to the Patriots in Week 7.

Down eight points, Cumberland came down with a 10-yard touchdown reception late in the fourth quarter. However, the Jets were unable to convert the two-point conversion to tie the game. He was thrown to four times and finished with three catches for 50 yards and a score in a 27-25 defeat. He has 154 receiving yards on the season.

The Jets will host the Bills in Week 8.

Jets receivers pitch in during Week 6 defeat to Denver

A quartet of Jets receivers made small offensive contributions in the defeat to visiting Denver on Sunday. Included was Jeremy Kerley, who caught just one pass for four yards and now has five receptions for just 31 yards in his last three games combined.

Greg Salas chipped in with one catch for 27 yards while tight end Jeff Cumberland snagged two for 10 yards and T.J. Graham added one reception for 10 yards.
