Suspicion of Davis' game status grew after the corner logged a limited practice Thursday, but he ended the week with full sessions both Friday and Saturday. Barring a setback prior to kickoff, Davis will be ready to play.
Davis (groin) was a full participant in Friday's practice.
Davis went down with a groin injury on Thanksgiving Day against the Steelers. While he was absent from Wednesday's practice, his uninhibited session Friday suggests he'll be fit to play come kickoff.
Davis injured his groin during the Colts' loss to the Steelers last Thursday, when he entered the contest with already carrying an ankle injury. Although that incident added to Davis' ailments, the time off prior to next Monday's subsequent contest provides coach Pagano with a favorable outlook regarding the cornerback's Week 13 availability. While that seemingly bodes well for Indianapolis' secondary, Davis' practice involvement over the course of this week should be most telling.
Davis was considered questionable heading into the contest with an ankle injury, but was ultimately ruled active. He then apparently injured his groin early the game. Davis had already been beaten for two touchdowns by Steelers' star receiver Antonio Brown before exiting. His nagging injuries likely played a factor in his lackluster performance.
