Johnson wants more playing time: The Buffalo News reports Bills WR Steve Johnson is looking for a bigger role this year after making an impact as a seventh-round draft pick last season. "I'm approaching it with the same mentality as last year," Johnson said. "I was trying to make an impression every time I stepped on the field. Coming into this year, you're going to get a little bit of an opportunity and you've got to make the best out of all of them. Whether it's blocking or catching a 5-yard route, you've got to show the players and the coaches that you should be out there on the field."

While Johnson's 2008 numbers don't jump off the stat sheet (10 catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns in 11 appearances), he did show flashes of what kind of player he can be. This year, he will compete for playing time behind Terrell Owens and Lee Evans. James Hardy (knee) likely won't be ready for training camp, and Johnson will compete with Roscoe Parrish and Josh Reed for minutes. He could see the field at times, but he's not a good Fantasy option coming into the year. Ignore Johnson on Draft Day.
