| Ballard could miss all season: The Bergen County Record reports that Giants tight end Jake Ballard (knee) saidd he might not be back this season, saying, "My best chance would be midseason, if at all." Ballard underwent microfracture surgery to repair the cartilage as well as surgery to repair his torn ACL in February after he was hurt in the Super Bowl. (Updated 04/20/2012) |

| Fantasy owners should keep an eye on what happens with Ballard, but there's a good chance he could sit out the season. Ballard caught 38 passes for 604 yards and four touchdowns in 2011. He will likely open the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list. With the Giants signing Martellus Bennett this offseason, the chances for Ballard to make an impact in Fantasy leagues is minimal. Ignore him in most formats on Draft Day. (Updated 04/20/2012). |
