It could have been a banner year across the board, as prior to Jared Goff taking the starting reins, Kendricks was producing decent fantasy results -- especially in PPR settings. The 28-year-old tight end caught 26 passes for 255 yards and a score from Weeks 4-9, but it went downhill quickly with the rookie quarterback running the offense. Kendricks finished the campaign with just 17 catches for 168 yards over the final seven weeks. The veteran still has two more seasons on his current contract, but he'll likely have a difficult time becoming a reliable fantasy asset because of the state of the Los Angeles offense, as well as the potential emergence of 2016 fourth-round tight end Tyler Higbee.
Kendricks caught three of four targets for 36 yards during Saturday's loss to San Francisco.
Over the past four weeks, Kendricks has just seven receptions for 67 yards, which hardly moves the fantasy needle. Plus, considering the cushy matchup for the Los Angeles offense, Kendricks' inability to capitalize against the 49ers further solidified his unreliability. The 28-year-old tight end likely shouldn't be trusted in any fantasy format at this point of the season.
Kendricks caught just one of his four targets for only five yards during Thursday's loss to Seattle.
Over the past six weeks, Kendricks has 13 receptions for 120 yards and a single score, and five of the outings were with rookie Jared Goff under center. Considering his underwhelming numbers, the 28-year-old tight end can't be trusted in any fantasy format at this point of the season. After all, the Rams have thrown for just 402 yards without a passing touchdown over the past two weeks.
Kendricks caught just one of three targets for 13 yards during Sunday's loss to the Falcons.
With Jared Goff under center the past four weeks, Kendricks has just 11 receptions for 115 yards and a score. Additionally, the tight end has seen only eight targets the past two games. Kendricks also played fewer offensive snaps than Tyler Higbee this week, and with the Rams already looking ahead to 2017, Los Angeles could begin to see what they've got in a few of their younger players. Any fantasy momentum Kendricks had accumulated in the middle of the season appears to have halted.
Kendricks caught two of five targets for 13 yards during Sunday's loss to the Patriots.
More concerning for his fantasy value, Kendricks played just 63 percent of the offensive snaps, and Tyler Higbee played 56 percent. Kendricks' hit-or-miss fantasy stock can't afford to lose playing time to the rookie tight end, Still, with the focus likely shifting to the Rams' future, Higbee could continue to be more involved in the offense.
