There is no clear indication on the severity of Locker's injury. The team will update his status Wednesday.
Locker was able to rush for 50 yards on six carries, but he struggled for the second consecutive week after putting up a nice performance in Week 1. He threw his first interception deep in his own territory to set the Bengals up for a touchdown, then threw his second at the end of the first half after a turnover put Tennessee in scoring range to deny the team points heading into halftime.
Head coach Ken Whisenhunt said after the game that he would be patient with the struggling quarterback, The Tennessean reports. The Titans head to Indianapolis to face the Colts in Week 4.
Locker was the talk of Fantasy leagues in Week 2 coming off a strong Week 1 performance at Kansas City and facing a suspect Dallas defense. Locker failed to deliver with 234 passing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against the Cowboys.
We hope he can rebound this week against the Bengals, but it won't be easy. Cincinnati just crushed Matt Ryan in Week 2 with 231 passing yards, one touchdown and three interceptions, and the Bengals have now allowed just four passing touchdowns compared to 10 interceptions in their past four regular-season games. Locker might have the chance to earn Fantasy owners' trust down the road, but he's an easy quarterback to sit this week.

"There were a lot of factors that were involved," Whisenhunt told The Tennessean. "The quarterback gets the credit a lot of times, and he gets the blame a lot of times. There were some protection issues in the first half that led to some problems. ... It was a team effort."
Locker, who finished with 234 passing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, visits the Bengals in Week 3.
After a tremendous performance Week 1 in a win against the Chiefs, the Cowboys shutdown Locker in the first half Sunday. Locker completed just 4 of 12 passes for 26 yards and one interception by halftime.
Though, the second half was a much different story for Locker, who led Tennessee on a scoring drive to open the third quarter, cutting the deficit to 16-3. The Titans then got within six points, as on the next Tennessee drive Locker connected with Delanie Walker for a 61-yard touchdown.
The Cowboys extended the lead to 26-10 before Locker hit Nate Washington for a 6-yard touchdown. However, after review, the ruling on the field was overturned as replay showed Washington had the ball knocked out of his hands as he was going to the ground. Locker came back on the next play to hit Walker for a pass in the end zone, but Walker couldn't come down with the football inbounds and Tennessee turned the ball over on downs.
The Titans are back in action Week 3 at Cincinnati.
