  • Crabtree bottled up in Championship Game: 49ers WR Michael Crabtree did not come up with most of the passes thrown his way in Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Giants. He was targeted five times by QB Alex Smith, making one catch for 3 yards in the 20-17 overtime loss. Crabtree was the only wide receiver on San Francisco to post a catch in the contest. “I’m a receiver, I’m always going to think I’m open, even if someone’s on me," he said. "I just wanted a chance.”

    Fantasy Analysis
After recording four receptions for 25 yards and a touchdown in the first playoff game, Crabtree underwhelmed on Sunday. Still, he had a career campaign under new coach Jim Harbaugh and should only continue to grow as the 49ers get better on offense. He will likely remain the No. 1 WR in San Francisco heading into next season so consider Crabtree a viable option in the majority of Fantasy formats on Draft Day.
