| Crennel gives update on McCluster: Days after working with the receivers in Chiefs OTAs, coach Romeo Crennel acknowledged Thursday that Dexter McCluster is now working as a receiver rather than just at running back as he did last year. "We've given Dexter a few reps at wide receiver in this new offense," Crennel said. "We feel like he can play running back at any point of time. We want to see how he reacts to that (wide receiver) and if we need him at running back, we can put him at running back." (Updated 05/25/2012) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| However the Chiefs designate McCluster after training camp will determine how owners should be prepared to use him in Fantasy. Of course, that's if they want to use him at all. McCluster ended last season with 328 receiving yards on 46 catches and 521 yards on the ground on 102 carries. McCluster clearly has some talent but he was never able to emerge as a consistent playmaker for the Chiefs in his second season. He shouldn't be a part of Fantasy draft plans as of now.
