Saffold entered concussion protocol in the aftermath of Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Rich Hammond of the Orange County Register reports.

Saffold didn't play last week despite fitting in a limited practice Friday. Now removed from the injury report entirely, he should play Sunday against Atlanta, barring any setbacks.
Saffold (hand) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Saffold was only able to take part in one limited practice session during the week, so the Rams will err on the side of caution and keep him out Sunday. With the left guard sidelined, it's expected that Jamon Brown will move into a starting role in his stead.

Saffold underwent surgery on his hand earlier in the week, but head coach Jeff Fisher hasn't ruled out the chances of the lineman playing Sunday. If he is ruled out, look for Jamon Brown to grab the spot start.
Saffold injured his hand last Sunday against the Saints. Despite being scheduled for surgery, head coach Jeff Fisher hasn't ruled out the offensive lineman for this week's game against New England.
