Packers OT Bryan Bulaga expected to miss 4-6 weeks
by Rotowire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Packers offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga (torn meniscus) is expected to miss 4-6 weeks, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports.

It was a little hazy how serious Bulaga's knee injury was, but it's now clear that the Packers won't get their starting right tackle back until around the halfway point of the season. This could lead to a few more sacks of Aaron Rodgers, and could slightly ding Eddie Lacy's value over that stretch as well.

The Packers are making a last-minute effort to keep impending free-agent tackle Bryan Bulaga in Green Bay, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. Bulaga initially turned down a $7 million offer by the Packers, and if both side don't agree to a deal by 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, he'll hit the open market.

If Bulaga leaves Green Bay, third-year pro Don Barclay would be expected to move into Bulaga's starting role at right tackle.

Report: Jaguars, Redskins, Buccaneers most interested in Bulaga
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com

The Jaguars, Redskins and Buccaneers have shown the most interest in impending free-agent tackle Bryan Bulaga, the Journal Sentinel reports.

The Packers have "no intention" of paying their right tackle $7 million per year, leaving the door open for an interested team to swoop in and land the lineman. He's considered the top tackle available in free agency and could be signed with the intent to move to the left side.

If Bulaga leaves Green Bay, third-year pro Don Barclay would be expected to move into Bulaga's starting role at right tackle.
