Kerrigan (groin) was not listed on Thursday's injury report.
Kerrigan missed part of a preseason game along with a few practice in late August, but this confirms the initial suspicion that his injury was only minor. He should be ready to lead the Washington pass-rush in a tricky Week 1 matchup against Pittsburgh.
Kerrigan went through warmup stretches with the team but was not in pads as he spent the remainder of practice on the sideline. The linebacker was schedule to undergo an MRI on Saturday, although the team has yet to comment on his status. He could return to the practice field later this week but won't play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Buccaneers.

Kerrigan strained his groin on the first defensive series of Friday's preseason win over the Bills. Head coach Jay Gruden has already confirmed that he will not play his starters next week against the Buccaneers, giving Kerrigan some much-needed extra rest.

Kerrigan has three sacks in the last two weeks, bringing his totals to 6.5 sacks and 26 tackles this year. His offseason knee surgery and recent broken hand have likely hampered his output.
