| Allen sees first NFL action: Bears RB Armando Allen, who was promoted to the active roster this week following injuries to Matt Forte and Marion Barber, received his first NFL carry during the Bears’ first possession of the second quarter in Week 16. By the time the Bears were finished losing 35-21 to Green Bay, Allen had 10 more carries, finishing the day with 40 yards on 11 carries. (Updated 12/26/2011) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| The Bears have been decimated by injuries on offense recently, and Allen is the most recent beneficiary. The 22-year old out of Notre Dame received the backup’s share of carries, as the Bears like to spread the ball around, and he could be in line for another 10-12 carries in Week 17 if Barber’s injury continues to bother him. It would be hard to recommend Allen as a Fantasy option, however, given his lack of history. Feel free to keep him on Waivers for Week 17 against the Vikings. (Updated 12/26/2011). |
