| 49ers bottle up Ivory: New Orleans RB Chris Ivory rushed for 23 yards on nine carries during the Saints' 36-32 loss to San Francisco in their NFC Divisional Playoff game on Saturday. | Ivory -- and the rest of the Saints' running backs -- were not expected to find much running room as San Francisco had permitted just 77.3 rushing yards per game during the regular season. The 49ers quickly swarmed Ivory throughout the contest and he netted a long gain of just 7 yards. Ivory will have competition in the backfield next season with the return of RB Mark Ingram from an injury. Fantasy owners should not consider Ivory a worthwhile option in the majority of 2012 Fantasy drafts for now. (Updated 01/14/2012). |
