Brown gets contract extension: The Houston Chronicle reports the Texans have signed kicker Kris Brown to a four-year, $10 million contract extension. Brown, who scored 124 points last season, will get $2.5 million guaranteed. Brown connected on 29 of 33 field goals last year and made all 37 of his extra-point kicks.

"I think the world of him, not just as a player but as a man, also," coach Gary Kubiak said. "I have no doubts about Kris.
