| Driver has no plans to retire: Green Bay WR Donald Driver said he wants to continue his career, either with the Packers or another team, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Driver, 36, has stated before he wants to play until he is 40 years old. "I have plenty (of years)," Driver said. "The thing is, it's not up to me. The Packers have to make that decision. If they decide to keep me, I'll come back. If not, I guess I have to go somewhere else to play. That's always been my goal -- to retire here. It's going to be up to them to make that decision." | Driver finished with 37 receptions for 445 yards and six touchdowns during the regular season as he was overshadowed by several, younger Green Bay receivers this year. During Sunday's NFC Divisional Playoff game against the Giants, Driver posted three catches for 45 yards and a late touchdown. Unfortunately for Driver, he is on the downside of his career and should not be considered a worthwhile option in 2012 Fantasy drafts. (Updated 01/16/2012). |
