Harris back on the practice field: The Packers might get three defenders back Week 9 at Tennessee. DB Al Harris (spleen) and DB Atari Bigby (hamstring) both were on the field during the portion of practice that was open to the media Monday. And DL Justin Harrell could be active this week after spending the first six weeks of the season on the physically unable to perform list because of a back injury. Harrell stayed in Green Bay over the bye to continue working on his strength, but said he didn't really need more time to heal. He's ready to go now. "I was pretty much pain-free," Harrell said. "A couple days after the first practices, just working the soreness (out) and stuff, but by the weekend I was good."

CB Al Harris will be paid his $1.2 million roster bonus due in March, GM Ted Thompson said. "This is a guy that I don't see a lot of drop-off," Thompson said of the 34-year-old. "He's still a good player and we think he's going to be a good player again this year. We're not having a big youth movement." 22/1/2009
