Hayes (ankle) is questionable to play Sunday against the Giants, Rich Hammond of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Hayes missed Week 4 and Week 5 with an ankle injury, but returned for last week's game against the Seahawks, notching a sack in the process. He's expected to play this weekend.
Hayes (ankle) is active for Sunday's Week 6 matchup with the Lions, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.
It was expected that Hayes would miss Sunday's contest and that Robert Quinn (shoulder) would be cleared to play, but the reverse ended up being true when the Rams released their inactives. While the Rams are surely glad to have Hayes available, he only logged one limited practice this week, so his effectiveness could be hindered while he's out on the field. Hayes has recorded 11 tackles and one sack in three games this season.

Hayes was only able to put in a limited practice Friday, and his absence could open up more snaps for Ethan Westbrooks.
Hayes had been sidelined the previous two weeks with an ankle injury, and it appears he will be a true game-time decision for Sunday's matchup with the Lions. Ethan Westbrooks figures to fill in at left defensive end if Hayes cannot go.
