| Green-Ellis not much of a factor: Patriots RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis led his team in rushing in the Super Bowl; of course, given that his team features Tom Brady and one of the most prolific passing games in the league, it led to a predictably run-of-the-mill final line, as he received just 10 carries for 44 yards while adding two receptions for 15 yards in the game. The Patriots would wind up losing the game 21-17 after a late-game comeback by the Giants. (Updated 02/05/2012) |

| Green-Ellis’ role in the offense tends to fluctuate more than most No. 1 running backs because the Patriots are a pass-heavy team that doesn’t rely on the ground attack much. Still, he did finish the season with 11 touchdowns, to go with 667 rushing yards. He was overshadowed at some points in the season by rookie Stevan Ridley, and the Patriots may be forced to let him go as a free agent this season. Depending on where he lands, Green-Ellis could emerge as a viable Fantasy option week-in and week-out, so keep an eye on his free agency before deciding on his Draft-Day value.
