With the Packers running a ton of plays, Freeman took advantage of his opportunities and recorded his first solid fantasy game in four weeks. Although his excellent ability to pile up tackles gives him great weekly upside, he's had too many mediocre games to be worth a spot in most IDP leagues.
Freeman (wrist) is listed as active for Thursday's game against the Packers, Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Freeman was limited in practice throughout the week but he isn't expected to be held back at all on Thursday. He and Danny Trevathan will start at inside linebacker once again.
Freeman (wrist) is considered questionable to play Thursday versus the Packers, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Freeman's wrist issue has kept him limited throughout the week in practice, but the inside linebacker may be able to play through the pain in the Bears divisional matchup Thursday.Nick Kwiatkoski and Christian Jones would likely see additional reps at inside linebacker if Freeman is held out.
Freeman recorded five tackles Sunday against the Jaguars.
Freeman had a very poor fantasy day as the Jaguars ran the football just 20 times, limiting his opportunities to pile up many tackles. He now has posted seven or fewer tackles in three of his last four contests, and he's likely a player who could be safely dropped in standard IDP leagues, since the one category he typically excels at is not a strength at this time.
