The Cardinals promoted Dysert from the practice squad Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
When Carson Palmer missed time earlier this season due to a concussion, Dysert handled backup duties behind Drew Stanton. Dysert's elevation wasn't spurred by a known injury this time around, so perhaps another organization attempted to claim the fourth-year pro.
Dysert was promoted to the active roster as a result of Carson Palmer being out with a concussion, but then released with Palmer on the mend. Luckily for Dysert, the team has decided to keep him as part of the team, where he will continue to be available on the practice squad should Arizona go through any more quarterback troubles.
It remains to be seen whether or not he'll work his way onto the active roster, but barring any injuries, he'll likely stay put.
