The Seahawks brought Goodman on board after placing Quinton Jefferson (thumb) on injured reserve Tuesday. The defensive end played in just four games for the Falcons last season, totaling three tackles on the year. He'll serve as the primary backup to Michael Bennett.

Goodman was drafted by the Falcons in the fourth-round of the 2013 Draft. After starting 10 games in 2014 he played in just four games last season. He figured to have a long shot at making the final roster.
