WRs Ricardo Lockette, Kevin Norwood move up depth chart
by Larry Hartstein |

With rookie wideout Paul Richardson out for the rest of the playoffs with a torn ACL, the Seahawks will use Ricardo Lockette and rookie Kevin Norwood in addition to starters Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Coach Pete Carroll said Norwood, a fourth-round pick, must step up.

“We totally trust that he knows what’s going on and can make good plays,” Carroll said, per the paper. “They’re a little different in style but we think he’s going to be a very effective player. We just haven’t seen a lot of him so you would know that. But we’re OK about that. We’re going to definitely miss Paul because he just continues to show, he’s made a lot of big plays and big catches in tough situations. We’ll miss him in that.”

Seattle is a 7.5-point home favorite over the Packers in the NFC Championship Game.
