| Jennings arrested after being cut: NBC Sports reports that running back Chris Jennings, who was released by the Jets on Saturday, was so eager to get home to Ohio after receiving the bad news that he got pulled over for speeding. He was driving reportedly at 147 miles per hour in a 65-mph zone. Jennings was arrested because he had expired plates and a suspended license. He posted bond soon after. (Updated 09/05/2011) |

| Jennings has run into legal trouble before, reportedly getting into a fight in 2010 that didn't lead to a charge. His on-the-field skills weren't enough for him to be claimed off of waivers, and his off-the-field issues are not helping his NFL cause.
