Jacksonville Jaguars safety Johnathan Cyprien (calf) practiced in full Wednesday, John Oehser of Jaguars.com reports.
Cyprien missed the last two weeks with a variety of nagging injuries, but it appears as if the run-stopping safety should be primed to go against the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday.
With Josh Evans (knee) injured during Week 3's contest against the New England Patriots , Cyprien should slot in his customary strong safety position should he be cleared to compete.
Cyprien did not practice Friday for the third straight day, but he will still have a chance to play. While it's not entirely clear where he stands in his recovery, he appears to be making progress, as he was listed as doubtful on the injury report last week.
Cyprien was once again held out of practice, and his status for the Week 3 tilt against New England is officially in jeopardy. While he hasn't officially been ruled out by the Jaguars, he would have to make a quick turnaround just to make it on the field Sunday.
After leaving Week 1's game against Carolina early with a calf injury, Cyprien was unable to go in Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Cyprien has been a consistent stopper in the run game recording back-to-back years of more than 100 tackles, so his status is worth monitoring as the week progresses.
If he is unable to go, Josh Evans (two tackles against the Dolphins) could get the start once again.
